Student Visa Reforms

From 2013 students wil be able to apply for an extension to their post-study work.  University graduates who complete their Bachelor degrees after at least two years of academic study in Australia will be eleigible for a two year stay.

Graduates who complete their Masters Degree after at least two years academic study in Australia will be eligible for a three year stay.

Graduates who complete their PhD after at least two years of academic study in Australia will be eleigible for a four year stay.

The exsisting Tempoarary Graduate Sublcass 485 which provides for 18 moths for those with qualifications in eleigible fields of study will still be available.
